The authors are invited to submit a document consisting of a complete description of the novel ideas and applicable research results, in a maximum of 4 pages for regular and special session papers (or 1 page for demo session papers), including figures, tables and references.
All papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF Format. The templates can be downloaded here in Word or LaTeX format. (Note: The templates have been updated to explain the Blind Review process better).
VCIP 2018 adopts a Double blind review process, where the authors MUST NOT disclose their names, affiliations and any other information in the paper that could lead to the identification of the authors. Please read the entire template carefully to verify that your paper is formatted correctly, and then convert your document to PDF with all the fonts embedded. Do not give page number to your paper or apply any security settings to your PDF. Violating these policies might lead to direct rejection of the paper without review.
All Paper Submissions (initial and final) must be made on-line, before the deadline, through the on-line submission system (to be announced later). Papers submitted by e-mail or after the deadline, will not be considered and there will be no exceptions. If you need to edit any author's information or resubmit your paper, it may be done until the submission deadline. Please use the unique web account you created during the initial submission, to edit or resubmit.
Paper submissions will be reviewed by experts selected by the conference committee for their demonstrated knowledge of particular topics. The authors will be notified of the review results by e-mail or they can view the progress and results of the review process from their account on the submission system.
Note: By submitting a manuscript to VCIP, the authors guarantee that it has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper either has been or will be submitted to either a journal, or a conference, during the VCIP 2018 review period. It is the authors' responsibility to cite these and argue in the body of your paper why it is non-trivially different from these concurrent submissions.
